Red Light Company 是主唱 Richard Frenneaux 藉由網路招募來志同道合的愛樂者所組成，成軍後的 RLC 便跟著 Editors 做巡迴演出，前後共發行了三張 EP，皆獲得英媒和雜誌大力讚賞，評為 2009 熱門新團之一。就在三月初，樂團發行了第一張專輯"Fine Fascination"，首週即站上金榜第 13 名，證實 RLC 僅管團員來自四面八方，卻不減他們的真正潛力。
"Fine Fascination"整張雖然貫穿流行曲風，卻鮮少聽到近期較為氾濫的電子或是舞曲元素，反而回歸以單純吉他帶出主旋律，偶爾再加上其它樂器點綴，像 Arts & Crafts、With Lights Out 和末曲 The Alamo 加入鋼琴，New Jersey Television 則是穿插小提琴。如果仔細聽完專輯，大家也可以預期到，這又是一支 post-punk 樂團；但其獨到之處就是，Red Light Company 擁有一位辨識度極高的主唱，中性化裝扮加上令人印像深刻的 vocal，為每首歌曲添加不少獨特性，也比較不易聽膩。說真的，一開始接觸這聲音還以為是遇到 Placebo！
